Hunt Middle School

The $57.9M Progressive Design-Build Hunt Middle School project involved new construction of a 96,079SF middle school on an existing 25- acre campus. The new facilities replace the previous school and include modern, flexible learning spaces, natural lighting, access to fresh air and outdoor learning/work areas, a safe and secure environment, and energy/resource efficient building systems. Athletic facilities included football, baseball/soccer, and softball/multipurpose fields.
Strategic phasing was used to design scopes for both phases during Phase I, ensuring the school had program elements needed to create an environment where students could thrive, setting the stage for seamless addition of Phase II when the next bond passed.
