We were thrilled to host Arlene Crum, Director of K-12 Mathematics for the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI), and Diane Siderius Kocer of the AGC of Washington’s Education Foundation at our University of Washington Oak Hall jobsite last week. Ms. Crum is working with employers to study math applications in the construction industry and translate math education to career pathways post high school. Engaging youth in careers in the construction industry has been part of Absher’s strategic plan for more than a decade. We are energized by new ways to grow an educated and skilled workforce for tomorrow!
